I figured someone had to say it first, but last night Batista won the world title. Apparently the "I'm thinking of hangin it up" bitchfest he threw scared the crap outta Vince enough to get the belt off a deserving champion in Jericho after only a two month reign.
I don't understand why WWE is so freakin scared to make someone else a main eventer. Punk was a good champ, easily had the best matches of the night and got a great reaction, but he was buried. Jericho had the crowds wanting him dead, and yet he get the belt taken off him by a guy who only gets cheered cause of his entrance pyro?
*Groan* That was the pisser of the night (aside from Jeff Hardy jobbing to HHH yet again. Sorry HHH supporters, I still don't believe that Trips is EVER going to drop the title to him.) Is Batista really that important? I mean really? I just feel bad for Jericho, as I don't know what they're going to do with him now.

No cheers from me, thankyouverymuch. The main problem I have with the guy is, he's a dick. He is SO much better suited to being a bad guy, just because it reflects his inner douche so well.
Personally I'd like Cena to return and win the WWE Title back at 'Mania, just so we can COMPLETELY regress 4 years. WWE = Progress, people. |

Thank you! I share in your pain, as the guy is a complete douchebag. I'm starting to think he and Samoa Joe went to the same promo school. He just has that attitude and aura to him, and I just can't like the guy. He's one of two wrestlers I know off the top of my head to attack women, and get a standing ovation. (Other being Austin, stunning Stacy Kiebler for refusing to drink beer. The General public is a bunch of a-holes)
Plus the guy is cancer on the mic. I don't like Trips but at least he's funny as hell on the mic. The only way I'd like Batista promos is if he yelled "DAVE SMASH!" in all of them... actually he kind of does that now.
And what do you guys think of his wrestling? I remember that he had some intense matches with Taker... but since that fued ended all of his matches seem to be subpar. Maybe its just me, but I'm starting to wonder how much of that was Taker.
As for the question of rape, yes and no. Melina came on to him and slept with him so that he would not wrestle MNM w/Rey Mysterio for the belts. Batista fucked her, and then smirked and told her he was gonna kill them anyway.
That Batista... truly an inspiration for future dickheads everywhere. |

He seems to either be purposely sloppy recently or else the steroids are getting to be too much or something. I say this because in 2003, his wrestling was top notch for a monster heel powerhouse. And at the main event of Wrestlemania 21, he was at his absolute best as a monster heel powerhouse (even though he was face), like a non-flying Mike Awesome.
Maybe he got a disease from Melina? Like that thread from the old forum saying that shit that is black like tar and soft like diarrhea is called Maelina? |
