Well, I'll go first. I watched BOTH. I found mid 90's WWF to be so bad that I was completely done with wrestling for a year or two. Nitro sucked me back in, then I gradually switched over to Raw. Raw eventually got more time with me as, you know, Nitro started to really suck.

I generally watched Raw due to the fact that here in the UK they didn't show WCW. They did on a Friday evening show WCW Worldwide and sometimes Nitro on the TNT Classic Movies channel on Cable. They showed RAW, first on a Friday after the ep, then a day after and then live at 2am.

I started watching Raw in early 2000. I don't think it started at 8pm then, but for some reason I remember it starting at 8pm. The only real reason I remember it that way is because before Raw is War started, I would watch an hour of Nitro. And I remember absolutely nothing about Nitro, except for that it looked different. I was 12 at the time.

My thoughts exactly.

Where I live it was pretty easy to watch both as Nitro aired on Friday nights and Raw on Saturdays. Though it wasn't Raw - we got Superstars until mid 98... and both were about 2 months behind. I didn't care though, because I didn't have internet back then so no one would spoil the results. Unless they wanted a Shaprshooter

The only exceptions were I stopped watching Raw after Owen Hart's death for about 6 months, and then rarely watched Nitro during 2000 because it was on at around 2am. I still loved it though - it seemed that the weirder it got, the more I loved it. I sometimes think I am the only person on the planet that thought the 'fingerpoke of doom' was hilarious

Usually, I'd watch Nitro from 7 to 8, then switch to Raw and go back to Nitro if I wanted to see a certain match or if Raw was on commercial. I liked Raw for Stone Cold and Triple H, but even when I was seven years old I really watched WCW for Chris Jericho and the cruiserweights. Once WCW started revolving around Jeff Jarrett and Ed fucking Ferrera was cruiserweight champion, I stopped watching it altogether.

For the most part I watched both. I would have a VCR in my living room to record Nitro and I would watch RAW in my room until 2000. Then I just stopped watching Nitro altogether.

I never had to choose, the first wrestling show I watched was the Raw where Vince bought WCW.

Wait, I was promised a bowl of gravy. Where is it?

I used to watch Smackdown sporadically when I was little. Like, late 90's and early 00's, I guess. I just kind of watched it when nothing else was on and because I thought The Rock was cool. Then one day I was channel surfing and stopped on Raw on TNN, around 2002 or 2003, and it was JR gravely recapping Stacy Kiebler accidentally being hit with a chair by Chris Jericho earlier in the night, or at a PPV, or something. Then Lance Storm and William Regal beat the Dudleys in a shit match for the tag titles and for some reason that did it for me and I've been watching wrestling since. That's not at all what you asked for but there you go.

tl'dr I'm not old.

I watched both, I started watching wrestling 1994 right after Own won King of the Ring. I watched raw until Nitro started. I flipped back and forth between channels then. I mainly remember watching WCW for the cruiserweights and luchadors. And I watched WCW Saturday Night. Malenko and Chris Jericho were my favourite wrestlers then.

I would skip homework and watch Nitro first and then switch to Raw and go back and forth btwn channels. Then the next day everyone would talk about what happend on Raw. *Sigh* Back when wrestling was cool.

I have a deep appreciation for all the work of Sarah Jessica Parker

Been watching Raw since its introduction and before that Sunday night Prime Time wrestling. Nitro's only draw was the intro to the NWO when Hall and Nash had their debut. Raw worst era period was all that Spirit Squad shit. I stopped watching in the middle of that and I missed most of the new DX shit, which I guess wasn't really that great anyway considering Michaels was all churchy.

WHOOAAAOOOO~!

Well I was ambivalent to D-Generation X, until I saw the first part of 10 of the D-Generation X video (released on DVD in 2006, censored) with mostly Triple H being an ass to Michael Cole and others, and it was awesome.
