Where did that angle go? I remember that they sent Flair to a nut house and made Hacksaw a janitor, but what happened overall? Who were the powers that be and what happened to them?

The 'Powers' were just Russo and Ferrara. The angle got dropped once they got fired. And by dropped, I mean the booking committee that replaced them wanted us all to just pretend it never happened.

Lacey can do magic tricks. She's good; she's like that Curt Hennig!

IIRC it was so bad, that we were all more than glad to do so.

Wait, I was promised a bowl of gravy. Where is it?

For more reading on this topic, I urge you to get a copy of "Death Of WCW". It will make you laugh at how horrible these storylines truely were.

I've read it twice. I started questioning the accuracy of it when it started telling of basically how WCW was suffering from the EXACT SAME PROBLEMS from 1988-1997 as it was in 1998-2001. The only difference is that the roster got bigger, and the problems got more frequent.

My thoughts exactly.

I've lost count on how many times I've read it, but all wrestling companies make the same mistakes. You're probably not wrong at all, but the thing is if there's a small(er) roster making less mistakes it won't be noticed as much. I suppose those mistakes were exploited more and more as time went by and those who sed those exploitations to get into power backstage used it only for self-gain.

If that makes any sense.
